exposition du systeme du monde
supernature* is a digital ecosystem,
an imitation of the operation of a real-world process, using computer simulation technology.
random data extracted from nature (atmospheric noise), video projection/sound. computer prossesing, performers, theatrical costumes, micro sensors, midi controllers.
ligtht paintings & video murals
intro installation
the dramatic confrontation of 3d animated solid volumes,
and primary structure design.
performance artists & visuals combined '
costumes and wearable technology
~
_costumes and masks for supernature, are designed by fashion artist Melissanthi Spei.
_wearable technology, micro sensors, arduino based interactive systems, and midi controllers, arranged by studio ellemoog.
_
_ overview
_ performers appear as symbols of the transformative and mysterious journey of knowledge.
a journey through the labyrinth of the soul, and into the supernatural reality of miracle and wonder.

wall to wall video
projection.
_
_making use of video projection technology for the creation of a surrounding environment, to affect audience and performers.
video is displayed in such a way that the viewer
and the performers become a part of it.

performace + EEG controled neurotechnology system,/video installation.
the entity, sleeps on earth and wakes up in heaven.
The cycle of nature is dramatized on stage,
with the help of technology.
performers come to a state of deep concentration, and provide 'dream sequenses'.
the dream comes in the form of camptured brain wave data, that is then translated in to colors, shapes, volumes,
that we can actually see.
~
based on a neurotechnology system
powered by scientifically validated EEG device.
this wireless device can translate raw brain data into meaningful insights, so the performer can control machines with his mind,
and trigger events with his thoughts.
screen tests
the dream sequence
'mind triggered' color hue. (screen test)
mind controlled routines and actions'
mind controlled routines and actions, affect the projected visuals, in real time.
hue/saturation., start /stop, scale, rotate, brightness , . . (screen test)
the touch '
~
with the help of an electronic device, that transforms the physical skin interaction into midi notes, the performers can 'turn' their bodies, into midi controllers and musical keyboards.
As the area of touch and intensity changes,
the musical notes change too.
performers become parts of a musical ensemble, and create a unique progression soundscape,
by using only their bodies as instuments.
sound and silence, dynamics, all the qualities of timbre and texture, are present in the controlled gesture of the human touch,
by controlling note frequency, velosity, and modulation of the prodused sound, we provide 'action driven'
sound sculptures.

new constellations*
a 'night sky dome' ceiling video projection.
look up in night sky with a sense of wonder, consider your place in the vastness of space, and deepen
your appreciation for life.
data from atmospheric noise, and python script driven point cloud generator.
points and their conections are born and die in 3d space in an endless sequance.
interactive wall installation
viewers and general audience participatory involvement,
interactive video projection systems.
'touch /movement sensitive' interactive video projection system, that explores the idea of a participatory audience, and the dialog of gesture, of both active and passive viewers.
interactive wall installation simple screen tests.
'touch sensitive' audio/video play
deformation driven by audio source.

directors guidelines
~ the stage presence of light, its dramatic role as well as its visual imprint, embody experiences in a chronological sequence, and reveal a place of mysterious brightness.
this common place, the persistent gap in the perceptual process of the spectator, is the directing framework of this work.
